a booklet making week

...it's been just over a week since I posted here. The reason. Lots of washing, ironing, cutting and snipping, mini cushion making, button attaching, edge pinking, booklet making.......the vintage drawer has kept me in the sewing corner, quietly and thoughtfully creating the invitation booklets.
So I thought this would be a good time to introduce you to the process of ordering an invitation from the vintage drawer. Firstly (and most importantly) we need to receive your order. We then will send you a series of brochure sheets (see last image) that shows the available booklets. You select the individual numbers of the booklets you would like me to proceed with and then they are custom made with your 'very important' information and each linen page is then decorated with applique, haberdashery and stitch....you can see that each little linen booklet comes with it's own keepsake button box for your guests to keep in a safe place forever...... each invitation costs £9.00 (includes cushioned box).
Guests names are not included in the invitation but can be added as a little tag tied around the button for a small additional charge. The invitations state 'the pleasure of your company is requested' this means that on receipt of your order you can personally choose which invitation Aunt May or Florence & Bert would love to receive and character match the booklets with each individual guest........

Please email me at info@vickytrainor.co.uk if you have any questions......
